people die. this past weekend, it was Dan Fogelberg’s turn.

the peoria, illinois born son of a band leader succumbed to prostate cancer after a brave 3 year battle.

you may remember his hit songs “Longer”, “Same Old Lang Syne” and “Leader of the Band”, a song he wrote as a tribute to his father for supporting his choice of careers. (music vs. acting) – good choice.
